About Stav-On

Built around useful ideas.

Stav-On Innovations develops practical physical products intended to simplify demanding, repeatable work.

01 / Company story

A practical problem is a good place to start.

Stav-On’s first product-development program grew from a familiar material-handling problem: a pickup can carry a substantial load, but unloading that material can still depend on repetitive lifting and shoveling.

That problem led Peter Stavropoulos to develop a compact powered unloading concept built around the truck or trailer people already use. The result became the Portable Electronic Unloader and the foundation for Stav-On Innovations.

02 / Principles

Useful first.

  • 01

    Practical over complicated.

A product should solve the problem without creating unnecessary new ones.

  • 02

    Designed around real work.

Operating conditions, installation, removal, storage, and support matter alongside the mechanism itself.

  • 03

    Refined through use.

Physical products improve when design decisions are tested against the job they are meant to perform.

  • 04

    Built with deployment in mind.

A good invention has to become a usable product, not remain an interesting mechanism.
